Madhuri Azad is a socially active Scarborough-Agincourt resident, licensed Ontario lawyer, and an active community volunteer. She brings a professional experience of over 16 years in the legal field with a blend of technical and innovative skills gained through her background in Computer Science Engineering and an advanced degree in Master of Laws (LL.M.).

With a commitment to community advocacy, she serves as a democratically elected PIAC (Parent Involvement Advisory Committee) Ward Co-Representative for the Scarborough-Agincourt region and brings valuable insight as an experienced TDSB School Council Co-Chair. Through her community leadership, she contributes to local parent council governance, promotes parent/caregiver engagement to support student achievement, and focuses on advocating for students’ safety. Her work in these roles centers on bridging gaps to ensure parent voices directly shape educational resource allocation for students.
